This picture shows the radiant iconostasis, frescoes covering the walls and ceiling and a black casket holding the body of St. John. On rare occasions the casket is opened and pilgrims are permitted to view the wrist of the saint's left hand. CONDITION This 83+ year old Item is rated Near Mint. No creases. No natural defects.
